XGIMI debuts 4K ultra short throw laser projector

XGIMI is hoping to unseat the living room TV with Aura, an ultra short throw laser projector that delivers 4K images at up to 150-in.

The manufacturer is showing Aura alongside its entire line up of projectors at CES 2022 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Centre, Booth # 18861.

Aura is capable of projecting at 4K and HDR10 resolutions powered by 2400 ANSI lumens of brightness. It features an Android TV 10 user interface that runs streaming services like Disney+, Hulu and Amazon Prime. It has built-in Chromecast functionality and features three HDMI ports for external devices like game consoles, cable boxes and Blu-ray players. It has Dolby Audio support and the four 15W Harman-Kardon speakers built into the Aura projector feature two tweeters and two subwoofers.

The projector features XGIMI’s fast boot tech for quick set up. It also has XGIMI’s onboard, eight-point keystone correction technology for easy focusing.
