Invision opens new Reference Home Cinema facility

Invision has announced a new Reference Home Cinema facility that will be opening its doors in July.

Located at its UK offices in Bracknell, Berkshire, the cinema is fully equipped with some of the latest sound and vision innovation, giving a totally immersive audio visual experience.

The facility features DTS:X Pro sound, a technology that builds on the 3D audio abilities of the DTS:X audio technology by increasing the number of available channels from 11 to as many as 32, giving installers more freedom when building home cinemas for their clients.

Trinnov’s Audio Altitude32 surround sound processor is used in the Invision Reference Home Cinema, supporting up to 32 uniquely rendered DTS:X Pro audio channels.

Delivering the audio in the theatre, Invision has used 26 Procella speakers in 11.4.8 configuration. The visuals are provided by a JVC DLA-N9X projector paired with a Screen Innovation Zero Edge screen. To make the experience comfortable, Invision has chosen Cinema-Module’s seats.

The acoustic design of the cinema was mapped by Audio Data Labs in Sweden, the same company who created the ‘World’s best demo room’ at the CEDIA HQ in the USA.

“We are truly delighted to be opening the Invision Reference Home Cinema,” Mark Taylor, Invision’s commercial director. “Our state-of-the-art space is perfect for demonstrating the latest home cinema possibilities to our customers. We are sure they will love it.”

Dates for the first demonstration days will be announced soon.
