Training Ingenium and Smart3 offer BUSing courses in the UK Ingenium, the smart home devices and touch screens manufacturer and creator of the communications protocol, BUSing(r) have given their approval to Smart3 to offer courses aimed at installers to achieve the BUSing Partner certificates.
Smart3 is Ingenium's UK Distributor and will offer these courses at their offices in Hatfield. Smart3 shares Ingenium's view that training is important to ensure that installers know the products, and how to program and install them correctly. Both companies agree that no installation designed with Ingenium products and BUSing will be done by any installer who is not in possession of these certificates. The emphasis on training is aimed at providing a high quality service to end clients that reflect on the product, while at the same time giving installers the opportunity to achieve the silver, gold and platinum BUSing Partner certificates. Installers will have to prove they are BUSing Partners when on site, which will give the client the reassurance that he/she is receiving a quality product and service. As it is often difficult for installers to get away from work for two consecutive days (the length the course takes), Smart3 will offer the courses over two weeks. For further, specialised courses, these can be arranged as intensive three-day courses. There will be discounts for groups sent from the same company and a maximum 6 people per class will be permitted. It is foreseen that theses courses will take place once a month, and may increase, depending on demand. For the silver, gold and platinum awards, installers will be monitored and assessed in their work on-site, as well as their ability to resolve problems as they occur.
