OpenRemote Launches a Certification Program for Products and Integrators (19/3/2013)

OpenRemote launched a certification program, to serve the request from their community. It consists of plug-n-play controller product, accompanied by Certified products and Certified Integrators. This combination will enable solid and reliable professional implementations of OpenRemote as the middleware for Internet of Things.

With a growing community, the requests from this community to support professional use of OpenRemote, has been growing as well. With the launch of the ‘Professional Designer with eBox’ OpenRemote offers a stable and robust reference controller, tested and actively supported in combination with the Certified products. Next to that, to add more convenience and reliable support, Certified Integrators are offered as experienced users of OpenRemote. They give hands-on support to get your Internet of Things running, from residential and building automation to the automation of public spaces.

“Open Remote was requested by the City of Eindhoven to create an interface, based on open platforms, in which the integration of sound measurements, interaction via E-Sphereand People Counting systems was completely automated and lead to actions in the field of lighting. A way we will continue... Crowd Management 2.0.” - Tinus Kanters, project manager City of Eindhoven.

The Professional Designer with eBox controller is available online in Europe and US for 350 Euro. If ordered at numbers, a software license is offered.
