Crestron Call's for Entries for Residential Integration Awards 2013 (19/3/2013)

Integration specialists Crestron is calling for entries to its prestigious Integration Awards 2013. The Residential Integration Awards celebrate the outstanding work being undertaken by the network of accredited Crestron integrators throughout the UK and are a marque of quality.

“Our Crestron Integration Awards showcase the very best in the industry and we are excited to see the projects being submitted to this year’s scheme” said Robin van Meeuwen, Managing Director of Crestron UK. “As a manufacturer of innovative and intuitive home technology solutions, it’s inspiring to see how our integrators are implementing our products in real-life situations. Crestron’s unlimited flexibility allows for some truly amazing and unique systems to be built. The Integration Awards celebrate the hard work of installers who design some of the most amazing smart homes I’ve ever seen.”

This year’s projects will be put through their paces by an expert panel of judges, ensuring that the winners represent the best of the best in residential installations and the winners will be revealed at an event to be held in London during the summer. Deadline for entries is 31st of August 2013, so interested companies have plenty of time to craft their submissions. To be eligible, projects must have been completed between 1 June 2012 and 31 May 2013 and the categories are:

Best Integrated Home System (best use of Crestron Total Home Technology)
Most Distinctive Digital Media™ Installation (great project featuring this technology)
Brilliant Lighting Control and Design (Crestron lighting applications)
Best High Rise Living (apartment, loft or studio integrations)
Best Marine Project (yacht)
Best International Crestron Home (international property, outside of UK)
Most Creative GUI (open to programmers & CSPs– inspiring programming!)

To enter the awards, you must be an authorised Crestron dealer.

The winning entries will be able to prove their salt with a Crestron Integration Award which gives you an industry-recognised standard from the world’s leading manufacturer of advanced control and automation systems. Winning projects will also be featured in the Crestron PR campaign. Past winners have enjoyed increased coverage in both trade and consumer media.
