The Clarity Alliance Announces Winners of the Best of Show Awards at Sound & Vision, The Bristol Show (25/2/2013)

The winners in the “Best of Show” awards at this year’s Bristol Show were announced during the weekend, with five companies being selected to receive honours for their efforts at the show.

A team of judges from The Clarity Alliance spent Friday visiting every room at the show and scoring each against a list of criteria in order to select those rooms and companies they felt should be recognised for their contribution to the show. The winners were presented with their awards at the Friday evening press conference and were:

"Best Sounding Hi-fi Room' Computer Audio Design
"Best Home Cinema Room' Primare/SVS
"Best Presented Room" Canton
"Most Innovative Room" REL, for the on-wall wireless subwoofer
"Best Stand in Open Areas" Naim Audio

Simon Byles, outgoing vice chairman of the alliance, presenting the awards to the winners said, “We are very pleased to have been able to participate in the Best of Show awards, following an invitation from Robert Follis on behalf of the show organisers.” He continued, “It is important that the hard work and effort put in by the many companies which exhibit at the premier UK hi-fi show is recognised and rewarded. I would like to offer my heartfelt congratulations to all winners and the runners up, for their efforts in helping to raise the bar through their high standards of presentation, demonstration and innovation.”

Clarity would also like to thank Alan Roser of Anthem AV for the use of its room for the presentations and for sponsoring the drinks during the evening.
