CEDIA Region 1 Announces The Pavilion at the Tower of London as Venue for 2013 Awards (6/2/2013)

Calls for Entries by 22 March 2013

CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) has announced that its prestigious annual Awards ceremony will take place at one of London’s most historic attractions, The Pavilion at the Tower of London on Friday 28th June 2013.

With over two million visitors a year, The Tower of London is one of the City's most iconic landmarks and is the oldest royal castle in Europe. Built by William the Conqueror in 1078, the Tower has played a prominent role in English history serving many purposes throughout time such as, a place of execution, an armory, a prison, a public records office, a zoo, and now, the CEDIA Awards. The event promises to be a royal affair immersed in history, with the gala held in an exclusive marquee within the North Moat.

The CEDIA Region 1 Awards has become a key highlight in the residential custom installation calendar, with previous events taking place at the following stunning venues, Hampton Court Palace, One Mayfair, The Globe Theatre, The Brewery and Vinopolis. With over 300 guests expected to attend the Awards evening this year, it is set to be the most successful CEDIA Awards to date.

Wendy Griffiths, Executive Director of CEDIA Region 1 says, “Open to all Electronic Systems Professional (ESP) members, the CEDIA Awards are a celebration of the residential custom installation industry and the event provides members with a fitting platform on which to showcase their expertise and achievements.” Wendy continues, “Following on from the sellout event of 2012 we want the 2013 Awards to continue the momentum and remain a worthy celebration of our industry. With The Pavilion at the Tower of London, we have another befitting venue for what is fast becoming a not to be missed event and a fantastic night for all those that attend.”

Early Bird tickets for the black tie event, which includes a sit down dinner and drinks are priced at £130 per person, or £1,100 for a table of ten, excluding VAT (discount is available until Friday 19th April 2013).

The CEDIA Awards is free to enter and open only to CEDIA member companies, with a closing date for entries of the 22nd March 2013. For more information including the full list of awards categories, judging criteria and ticket purchasing please visit
