Visualplanet Presents its Large Format touchfoil at ISE 2013 (22/1/2013) Stand 9-A138, ISE 2013 Visualplanet is excited to announce that it be showing its unique touchfoil™ at ISE 2013. The touchfoil™ is a micron-thin optically clear touch sensor for retail and informational digital signage applications. The product is easily applied to glass and can be made to measure to customers’ requirements starting at 30” up to a massive 167” in size. Visualplanet’s global VAR and OEM partners use the touchfoil™ to transform digital information displays, advertising, kiosks and totems into engaging interactive experiences. The company is looking to create new relationships with OEMs in the AV and Digital Signage sectors. Established in 2002 visualplanet have pioneered the large format touchscreen market. As manufacturers of the first thin-film touch sensor, the company continues to develop and perfect the product and manufacturing processes to maintain its market leading position. Each touchfoil™ is manufactured to the customer's specific size requirements, and works using projected capacitance touch technology. The transparent touchfoil™ can be attached to and work through non-metallic materials such as glass up to 20mm thick. Aside from the standard offering, the product is also manufactured in a range of variations for specific markets: • touchfoil™ -Touch + UV protection for outdoor displays • touchfoil™ -Multi-touch for marketing displays • touchfoil™ -Digital Media Player networks for new and upgrading existing large-scale advertising networks deployments into interactive solutions • touchfoil™ -Rear Projection for exhibitions, museums, and thru-window solutions The stand (9-A138) at ISE 2013 is designed to highlight the three core functions of the business: manufacturing, commercialization, and product support. Visitors can expect to see these three key elements expressed succinctly on the stand, to immerse the visitor into the visualplanet world. It will be running product demonstrations at regular intervals to show how easily the touchfoil™ can transform a piece of glass into an interactive surface. Dan Spencer, Product Manager says: “2013 is the first year that visualplanet are exhibiting at ISE. Having visited the show for a number of years, and having been impressed with the quantity and quality of companies attending the show, we decided to book a stand to show who we are and what we do, which we believe makes us unique in the market. It also provides a convenient meeting point to engage face-to•face with our worldwide partners who are doing some amazing things with the product.”
