Cytech Announces Android App for Comfort Security/Automation System (9/1/2013)

Cytech has launched a free Android App for the Comfort integrated Security and Home Automation System which can be downloaded from the Google Play store.

This follows the iPhone app that was released last year.

The app allows users to arm and disarm the security system (using their own security code), to view the state of security zones and alarms, to control lights, heating, airconditioning, and other appliances as well as monitor IP cameras in the premises.

This can also be used to control 3rd party automation systems connected to Comfort, like KNX, C-Bus, Dynalite, Z-Wave, Velbus, LightwaveRF and many more.

No additional programming is needed for the app, as the programmed settings are imported from the Comfort system.

Another Android app optimised for Tablets wil be released later this year.
