HD Connectivity Launches HDanywhere HDBaseT Product 'Made in Great Britain' (4/1/2013)

Stand 5U117, ISE 2013

HD Connectivity (HDC) is launching a new “custom-installer-centric” HDBaseT system manufactured in Great Britain under its popular HDanywhere™ brand.

Full product specifics are being kept a close secret until ISE 2013 in late January, where the system will be revealed for the very first time.

The new product is the first to be fully built in Britain and the first model to be constructed at the company's recently-expanded HQ in Malvern, Worcestershire.

HDC's Managing Director, Chris Pinder, says that the investment will create up to ten new UK product engineering and manufacture jobs in 2013. He adds: “It’s a dream come true and I’m overwhelmingly proud of our team. The launch at ISE will be the culmination of so much hard work - it's going to be emotional. The HDanywhere systems being release in 2013 are genuinely a new class of product in the HD distribution category, and I see the dividing lines and points of difference between the competing brands becoming much clearer. 'Made in Britain' is just the starting point.”

To help celebrate this news, HDC has been sending custom installers and dealers a series of invitations to ISE that feature British icons such as the Mini and Savile Row – perhaps hinting at aspects of the secret system.
