Phase Technology Unveils New Pendant Series Speakers (16/10/2012)

Phase Technology® has introduced the HS Series of pendant speakers. These 3”, 4”, 6” and 8” speakers bring superior off-axis performance and easy installation along with attractive styling to installers needing economical speakers for open-ceiling uses.

The HS24, HS26, HS28 and the long-throw HS28-LT speakers incorporate Phase Technology’s exclusive BroadBeam Ring™ which increases high-frequency dispersion for full-fidelity sound even well off axis. Units include a ceramic input terminal, a built-in thermal fuse, hanging and safety cables, transformer and tap switch, and cover plate with a weather resistant rubber plug. The speakers may be mounted via a hanging cable or direct conduit. The speakers are shipped in eco-friendly packaging which is completely recyclable; they are UL2239 compliant and UL1480 UEAY pending.

The HS15 brings the audio quality of PhaseTech’s 3” powerful micro module speakers to a pendant style. It includes a combination audio/hanging cable with a 25:1 safety factor and mounting plate for mounting directly to a standard ceiling junction box. UL1480 UEAY is pending.

“Pendant speakers such as those first brought to the market by our sister company SoundTube are a mainstay in the commercial audio world, and we have been asked for quite some time to design a Phase Technology model,” said Duke Ducoff, MSE Audio VP of Sales. “These pendant speakers have attractive styling that will blend in with any open-ceiling architecture and their sonic quality is simply outstanding. They are ideal for great rooms, patios, gymnasiums, or other spaces with open ceilings.”
