Genesis Technologies Offers a Cinema Expert Training Program (9/10/2012)

Genesis Technologies University is pleased to announce our Cinema Expert Program, a unified series of classes that deliver the skills needed to design, implement and commission high performance home cinema.

The 5 stage Cinema Expert Program is specifically designed to provide the skills and experience needed by professional installers. In all cases, practical examples and hands on activities are favoured over theoretical discussion. During workshop sessions, written guides are supplied to ensure that attendees can immediately repeat the activities on their own projects.

All classes are held at Genesis Technologies brand new Experience Centre in Bracknell, Berkshire. This facility has been designed and implemented from scratch according to the principles of the Cinema Expert Program. This unique facility includes fully sound isolated and acoustically treated demonstration areas that allow attendees to immediately review, understand and experience first-hand all of the training topics.

Genesis Technologies University is dedicated to making our training resources easily available to our dealer partners. Each course is priced at just £100+VAT per day.

All tools used during the workshop sessions of the class are also available to purchase via Genesis Technologies. In all cases we have worked to ensure that a cost effective solution is available that meets the real requirements of our install partners.

Cinema Expert 1 – Design – 2 days – Oct 10th – 11th

Design covers all elements of home cinema that can be addressed prior to implementation of the system. The optional system design workshop on day 3 offers the chance to apply all of the design principles discussed to your own real projects.

Advanced Audio System Alignment covers everything that you need to know to perform basic system EQ or optimise the results obtained using automated room correction systems.

• Understanding the importance of the Schroeder frequency
• How to use manual EQ
• How to optimise results from automated calibration
