Savant Launches New Look Lighting Control System (6/9/2012)

Savant Systems LLC, having delivered the first Apple®-based home automation and commercial control system, has announced the introduction of Savant Lighting Control, transforming the LiteTouch® products into a dynamic lighting control solution that can be used as part of a complete package within Savant's automation and energy management ecosystem or as a standalone lighting control system. Savant Lighting Control will take advantage of Savant's expertise in highly efficient software-based system configuration, compact powerful hardware devices and renowned user interface options, giving integrators and designers highly versatile and scalable lighting control solutions. Savant Lighting Control will maximize energy efficiency, safety, convenience and ease of use all from a cohesive single platform.

By offering both Savant Lighting Control and the company's automation and entertainment products, integrators can now deliver the most complete and intuitive home automation solution. Users can activate lights via Savant's stylish array of premium keypads as well as the company's award-winning iOS and Mac apps including TrueControl™ and TrueImage Control™.

Savant Lighting Control can also be implemented as a versatile standalone lighting solution, utilizing the same interoperability that LiteTouch has offered to 3rd party control vendors. Savant's backwards compatible hardware and software design allows for support and system upgrade of all LiteTouch systems that are already installed in the field. Savant will continue to support 3rd party lighting control systems through the company's Partners in Excellence Program.
