Yamaha Launches Brand New AV Products at IFA 2012 (4/9/2012)

Yamaha is excited to be able to release information on its brand new products, including new receivers, new soundbars, new desktop audio, new two-channel, new headphones, and many more products also being launched exclusively at IFA 2012.

Yamaha AVENTAGE Receivers

Yamaha is pleased to introduce the newest range of AVENTAGE A/V Receivers, launching from July 2012 with the RX-A820. This new incarnation of the award-winning series aims to exceed even the highest expectations of sound quality and usability. The entire AVENTAGE range features a new ECO mode that lowers the power consumption of the receiver by 20%+ and can be turned on or off easily.

Front presence speakers have often been a sore point when designing a home cinema; rooms are often not big enough to accommodate these extra speakers. But with them, the sound is more enveloping and engaging. Yamaha has addressed this dilemma with its new Virtual Presence Speaker technology. Now you can enjoy full 3D sound without the need for more speakers, this progressive new feature is available across the entire AVENTAGE range.

The RX-A3020 features the very latest innovation in DSP sound with CinemaDSP HD3, the very best you can get in a home theatre, while models from the RX-A1020 and above can store your favourite speaker, CinemaDSP, volume or input settings.

We have also produced a Blu-Ray player to match the new AVENTAGE range. The BDA-1020 features the same styling and superior attention to detail of our AVENTAGE receiver and will play back SACD, DVD-A and many other popular media formats. The USB playback and network playback functions can handle FLAC 192kHz / 24-bit as well as Apple Lossless formats and stream them in the highest possible quality.

Yamaha Soundbars and TV Peripheral

Yamaha is pleased to introduce three new soundbars to the lineup as well as a new TV Peripheral device known as the NX-50.

The YSP-3300 and YSP-4300 are two surround soundbars that build on our already successful lineup in the Soundbar category; using our own Intellibeam technology they can give you a true alternative to a surround sound system. The Intellibeam technology works by bouncing sound beams around your room, this will allow you to get the 7.1 sound from a convenient and stylish system that doesn?t take up a lot of room and requires no cables led around the room. Simply plug in the setup microphone and let the Soundbar do the rest.

These soundbars come with a wireless active subwoofer that uses our AirWired2 technology, this means you get a lossless, transmission delay free experience from your subwoofer as well as from anything plugged into the included dock adapter (YITW12). Both soundbars also feature a built-in IR repeater as well as an ECO Mode found on our receivers, which, when enbaled, reduces power consumption by at least 20%.

The YAS-201 soundbar works in a completely different way. It uses our own technology called Airsurround Xtreme. This uses clever psycho-acoustic trickery to throw the sound from the bar around the room to create a virtual surround experience, and requires absolutely no setup at all. The bar comes twinned with a wireless active subwoofer which uses the AirWired2 technology.

The NX-50 is a new addition to the Yamaha TV Peripheral range; a stylish and new concept to 2 channel simple speakers, these are incredibly versatile. Two 3.5mm AUX inputs allow you to connect two devices at once and the NX-50 will auto mix between them. The speakers are designed to eliminate sound escaping from the cabinet, are available in 5 colours, and feature an auto-standby mode.

Yamaha Desktop Audio

Yamaha is pleased to introduce the newest additions to its desktop audio range: TSX132, TSXB232, MCR042, MCRB142, and the PDXB11.

The TSX-132 builds on the popular design and concept of recent years with Desktop Audio from Yamaha, with a sleek and stylish design the unit fits perfectly into any room or dÄcor. Use your CDs, iPod, iPhone, iPad (via USB connection), listen to FM radio, DAB, DAB+, connect a USB stick with music on or connect an external music player to the device. The TSX-132 also features our Intellialarm technology, which not only fades the music in gently at the alarm time; but fades out harmful frequencies to give you a truly gentle way to wake up. The large, clear clock display helps when viewing from across a room or simply checking the time and how much longer you can snooze for.

The TSX-B232 has the same beautiful design and expansive sound of its little brother (the TSX-132), but has the benefit of Bluetooth wireless technology to connect any Bluetooth-enabled device.

The MCR-042 is a unit that is conveniently sized so that it fits on most shelves and furniture with ease. The speakers can be separated from the main unit if needs be so place your unit where you like. Like the TSX units you can use your CDs, iPod, iPhone, iPad (via USB connection), listen to FM radio, DAB, DAB+, connect a USB stick with music on or connect an external music player to the device. There are 10 colours to choose from, and the MCR-042 is the Bluetooth-enabled version.

Yamaha CD Player/Streamer

Yamaha is proud to introduce a new music streaming unit with CD playback functionality. The CDN-500 bridges the gap between HiFi quality sound and network playback convenience. The sound quality is HiFi tuned, inheriting from Yamaha?s already established high quality audio products.

The CDN-500 at first glance is just a CD Player, but it can also stream over a DLNA network and access the thousands of radio stations found on vTuner. All using high quality, precisely chosen audio components to give the best possible audio playback. The USB functionality will also play back many audio formats, including FLAC 192kHz / 24 Bit and the Apple Lossless format. Enjoy everything the lossless codec can offer via network or USB. It features a pure direct function which bypasses any circuitry it doesn?t need so you can enjoy pure audio from a reasonably priced CD player as well as have all the functionality of a streamer.

The CDN-500 is APP controllable so you can adjust settings and choose your stream from across the room. The APP also features our MusicPlay technology which allows you to send music from your device using the APP to your CDN-500 effortlessly.

Yamaha Headphones

Yamaha is proud to introduce a new range in headphones from the first name in music. There are 5 new models coming from September 2012, the HPH-PRO300, HPH-PRO400, HPH-PRO500, HPH-MT120 and HPH-MT220.

Drawing inspiration from the world?s finest musical instruments and motorcycles, the PRO Series headphones get your heart racing before you even plug them in. Gorgeous geometry and ultra-clean design curves are matched with premium colour and finish materials, then emblazoned boldly with Yamaha?s iconic tuning-fork logo.

The PRO Series headphones combine the finest materials with Yamaha?s legendary tuning know-how to deliver a superb listening experience. They incorporate a newly-developed Yamaha-proprietary driver design with neodymium magnets that provide maximum efficiency when used with mobile devices. The ear cushions offer excellent acoustic properties by way of meticulous attention to material selection and shape design.
