AWE Introduces New Panasonic VT50 Smart Viera Plasma TV for Residential CI Projects (17/8/2012)

AWE introduces Panasonic’s VT50, the new top of the range Smart Viera plasma TV for residential CI projects, delivering exceptional image quality and internet functionality, within a sleek, high quality design.

Launched in May by AWE in 50”, 55” and 65” screen versions, the VT50 panel incorporates a slim bezel and a single sheet of glass. The result is a sharper look to the screen, with a minimal edge, eliminating the raised bezel appearance typical of many plasma TV’s.

The Panasonic VT50 series is THX 3D certified and features Infinite Black Filter Ultra technology to bring even deeper black levels and impressive detail to the screen. This new panel filter is designed to prevent external light ingress and light loss from the panel cells. The VT50 is able to provide crisp, clear images with excellent colour rendering at all times, even in well-lit rooms.

Picture quality is further enhanced by refined gradation. This ensures that images with subtle tonal changes are properly represented. Another new feature, the 2,500 Focused Field Drive is used to reduce motion trailing and 3D ghosting.

The VT50 also features a dual-core processor engine for powerful Smart TV performance. Under the VIERA Connect service, this allows users to enjoy video and music, sports, games, and a variety of other content in addition to standard movies and TV programmes. This cloud-based Internet service supports interactive services as well as online shopping. Panasonic also supplies the VT50 with an intuitive "touch pad controller" to make navigating around internet-based content quicker and easier.
