KEF Raises Over £10,000 for Childline Rocks Charity (6/8/2012)

Unique Reference Series Model 205/2 Auction’s Highest Bidder Wins Speakers Signed by Over 30 Rock Legends

KEF is proud to have raised a further £5,000 for the ChildLine Rocks charity, in a recent online auction. The speakers donated by KEF, a unique pair of Satin Black Reference Model 205/2s, were signed by over 30 rock legends, including Slash, Ronnie Wood, Ian Gillian, Michael Stipe and many more.  They went to the highest bidder, Mark Bennett, a previous KEF Reference owner and fan, raising the total amount KEF has risen so far this year for ChildLine to £10,000.

Mark Bennett commented, “When I saw that KEF was auctioning these speakers, the temptation proved irresistible! I have used KEF speakers for a long time including Reference models, but to own a pair with signatures of some of my favourite artists was even more appealing! To top it off, knowing that the money went straight to ChildLine has made winning the lot even better."
