InfoComm Issues Call for Presenters for ISE 2013 Education Programme (16/7/2012)

InfoComm International®, co-owner of the Integrated Systems Europe tradeshow, has issued its call for presenters for its education programme at ISE 2013.

Contracted ISE 2013 exhibitors and associated individuals are being encouraged to submit proposals for seminars to be hosted at either InfoComm’s Future Trends Summit or as part of the InfoComm University programme at ISE’s Education Zone.

The Future Trends Summit will take place on Monday, 28 January, while the InfoComm University sessions will be held on the ISE show days of 29-31 January. Both events are at the Amsterdam RAI, Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Future Trends Summit: Addressing hot issues including use and application of AV

For the Future Trends Summit, seminars should be on topics related to future technology trends, trends in the use and application of AV, or other items that will affect the industry in the coming months and years. These seminar slots are typically covered in a 45 to 50 minute session or dynamic according to content.

InfoComm University: Now accepting presentations of AV related topics

InfoComm University seminars take place during the three show days and may be on any topic pertinent to the AV industry. Seminar slots are 50 minutes in length, but provision can be made for longer seminars with in-depth content.

“InfoComm’s educational offerings at ISE 2012 were attended by almost 600 delegates – a record at ISE,” comments Scott Wills, CTS-D, CTS-I, InfoComm’s director of international education and member services.

“Because InfoComm has a reputation for providing unbiased, vendor-neutral educational content, hosting a seminar at either the Future Trends Summit or InfoComm University gives companies a great opportunity to build trust in their brands, or for individuals to enhance their status in the industry.”

Companies or individuals are encouraged to submit several proposals, as this presents a broader range for selection and a higher likelihood that one of their topics will fit the InfoComm programme. Presentations must be educational in nature and not biased toward any company or product, nor should they contain a sales pitch.

There is no charge to present on behalf of InfoComm. Presenters typically cover their own travel or other expenses. InfoComm arranges for room setup, equipment, and manages marketing and promotion for the session. Selections will be made by November 2012.
