CEDIA Regions 1 Special Event Delivers the Inside Scoop from Silicon Valley (16/7/2012)

CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association) has announced a special evening event on Wednesday 1st August at the Charlotte Street Hotel, London in the company of legendary U.S. AV system designer and CEDIA member, Rich Green.

In a talk entitled, “The Inside Scoop From Silicon Valley”, Rich will host a presentation for residential custom installers, looking at the new innovations and technologies coming out of the US, and explaining how they can be embraced to drive revenues for CI businesses.

“The future keeps crashing in on us and traditional sources of income are evaporating right before our eyes,” says Rich. “These are difficult times for system integrators, yet there is hope. It’s important to understand these new technologies emerging from the secret labs of Silicon Valley. They include retrofit automation, energy management, digital home health, home telepresence, managed services for recurring monthly revenue, and many more you have not yet heard of! Then, installers can map how these technologies will change their business and develop new revenue streams accordingly”.

The talk will take place from 6pm until 9pm on Wednesday 1st August and will cost £25 for CEDIA members and £50 for Non-Members to attend. The CEU Value is 1.5.

Rich has been an active professional in the audio/video industry since 1978 and a huge supporter of CEDIA. He travels the world as an instructor, consultant and public speaker in the fields of Future Technologies and Design. His system-integration company, Rich Green Design, LLC, serves the ambitious homeowners of Silicon Valley.
