DLS Speakers Signs UK Distribution Agreement with Habitech (6/6/2012)

Jonathan Pengilley was delighted to announce the UK distribution agreement with Dawid Koniarski of DLS, Sweden. Custom Installers have been requesting the Habitech sales team to source a low profile line of retro-fit wall mountable speakers for applications where integrated speakers aren't suitable. Timmi Thorsen, Habitech Sales Manager spotted DLS Flatbox speakers at ISE this year and it was uncanny how close they met our brief. They are so slim they look great and for the depth they sound pretty dam good too.

Pedigree

Since DLS was established in 1979 we have developed and produced in-car speakers for music lovers. Over the years, we have won numerous awards for our speaker systems, and we have been very successful in sound-off championships, both in Sweden and Europe. From 2003 we have included home entertainment speakers into our product portfolio and we export to music lovers all over the world.

Fundamental to our success is a passion for music reproduction shared by all the directors of the company. This provides the drive to develop the perfect speaker system.

From the start we have let our ears be the judge, as after all, they will be the only instruments assessing the performance of the speaker system in it's final environment.

Music is a subjective science. Measuring instruments are useful to a point, but they can also impose limits. Our ears are needed to take the development further.

We are not afraid to venture into the unknown during development - no idea is too strange for us to experiment with in the search for perfect sound.

The Flatbox Range

The DLS Flatbox speakers come in 5 sizes and an on-wall sub. There is a choice of 2 colours, white to blend or piano black to enhance enabling you to place them on any wall, adding a modern design element to your home. Every speaker ships with 2 sets of grilles, black and white. Contrasting the speaker with the opposite colour grille can look great in many applications. The Flatsub8 is the perfect choice if you want to hang your active sub on the wall or hide it away under a chair or a sofa. The Faltsub8s match the rest of the range in colours and options. The Flatbox range are supplied as singles to enable multiple combinations for 5.1, 7.1 or simple 2 channel solutions.
