Octava Expands its Range of HDMI Over CAT6 Matrix Products (6/6/2012)

Responding to requests from our Installer and Integrator customers to develop an affordable 4x2 HDMI Matrix with integrated CAT6 Extenders we have developed the HD42CATMX which includes a range of new features that are bound to be popular with our Pro and DIY customers.

Details

4x2 Full non-Blocking HDMI Matrix (Any Source to Any Display).
Integrated dual CAT6 Extenders to Zone A and Zone B.
Power over Cable (PoC) powers Zone Receivers from the Matrix over the connected CAT6 cables.
Compatible with Octava PoC ‘low profile’ Receiver units (available separately).
Mirrored ’local’ HDMI Output to Zone B.
Optical Digital Audio Output to Zone B.
IR, Push Button, Wired IR and RS232 control.
Rear mounted Wired IR socket – (Optional IR extender Receiver cable available).
Routed IR Passthru from both remote Zones for control of the Matrix plus selected Source device.
Broadcast IR port to enable control of an AV Receiver from any Zone.
Earth tag enables Installers to create a convenient ‘system’ Earth when all connected devices use 2-pin plugs.
Four Pre-configured User selectable EDID modes.
One Programmable EDID mode.
3D compatible plus 'Forced 3D’ EDID mode where you have a mix of 3D and non-3D Display devices.
USB socket allows simple Firmware and custom EDID Updates.
RS232 port for control system Integration.
Free PC desktop control App
Supports 1080p (60/50/24)
New uprated 5v 2.5Amp PSU
Redesigned Facia with Mirrored selector buttons for enhanced aesthetics
