Invision UK becomes exclusive distributor for Mozaex Blu-ray servers (19/3/2010)

Invision, the UK’s fastest growing distributor of integrated AV solutions for residential, commercial and marine applications, has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of Mozaex Blu-ray entertainment servers in the UK and Ireland.

Mozaex is a new solution that enables instant playback of media stored on its server, including Blu-ray and DVD movies, CD and MP3 music, photos and content from BBC iPlayer and many other services via the Mozaex NetPlay online media service. All media can be played simultaneously in any room, resulting in unprecedented ease, elegance and excitement. The Mozaex brand has been launched by Axonix MediaMax founder Douglas Kihm with the objective of redefining personal multi-room, multi-media Blu-ray entertainment and meeting the demands of high-end home integrators in terms of rock-solid reliability and serviceability.

Commenting on the deal, Mr Kihm said: “Invision UK is the perfect match for our Blu-ray entertainment server product line because they have proven that they know how to serve the middle to high-end custom home electronics dealer better than any other UK distributor.”

Mozaex achieves its goal of ‘set and forget’ reliability by shipping every system with ‘SurePlay’, an online remote access service that allows the dealer, distributor or Mozaex to update and maintain the server from anywhere in the world. This, combined with a proprietary ‘EasyUp’ single click user software update utility, means that dealers no longer need to return to customer’s homes to perform time-consuming and costly on-site maintenance.
