Unicam shows latest signal distribution and conversion products from Audio Authority (12/5/2009)

Unicam, distributors for Audio Authority, will be showing their latest signal distribution and conversion products. Demonstrations will include two new 4x4 HDMI matrix switchers one with CAT5/6 outputs, the new AVAtrix AVX-562. Also on show will be various new signal conversion products that offer the installers flexibility to distribute a mixture of analogue and HDMI signals over CAT5/6, come visit us at Booth G3.

Model HMX-144: 4x4 HDMI v. 1.3 Matrix

This HDMI matrix uses the most advanced HDMI chipsets available from Silicon Image to ensure a reliable, HDCP compliant system installation. Control via discrete IR commands and a robust RS-232 protocol makes this HDMI matrix as integrator-friendly as possible.

· 4x4 HDMI matrix (version 1.3 compliant)
· Supports 1080p / 30 bit deep colour
· Supports High Bitrate Audio (Dolby True-HD, DTS-HD Master Audio, LPCM)
· Control via discrete IR or RS-232 commands, plus front panel controls

Model HCX-11: HDMI over Coax Extender

Thousands of homes and businesses have previously installed component video and RGBHV matrix systems that need to be upgraded to HDMI. With the HCX-11, the existing coaxial cable infrastructure can be used to deliver bit-perfect HDMI 1.3 video and audio over distances up to 330 feet. System includes (1) transmitter and (1) receiver.

· 1:1 extension of HDMI version 1.3 signals over 4 or 5 coaxial cables

Includes VGA to Component (HD-15 to 3 RCA) cable for component video applications.

Model C-1071: IR to Bluetooth Converter for PlayStation 3

The "BlueBeam" is a revolutionary solution enabling easy integration of the Bluetooth-only PlayStation 3 console with traditional IR controls. The C-1071 is the answer for applications requiring the functionality of a PlayStation 3, and the simplicity of a fully integrated control system.

Model 1360: Component Down-converter

For applications where legacy displays must be integrated into an HD distribution system, or interfacing component sources into a modulator, the 1360 provides a simple conversion to composite or S-Video. The down-converter preserves the original signal via its pass-through jack. Great for connecting an Apple TV to a composite or S-Video display.
