Imerge shows new state of the art MS1 MediaServer and XiVASafe storage solutions, and more (12/1/2009) Stand 1K10, Integrated ystems Europe 2009 Imerge - the Cambridge-based pioneer of the hard disk-based media-server, is proud to once again attend the ISE show February 3rd - 5th at the RAI exhibition centre, Amsterdam. Ready to 'wow' the crowds, Imerge will be demonstrating the new state of the art MS1 media server and XiVASafe storage solutions and a host of new and exciting updates to the class leading portfolio of custom installation audio and video products. Visit Imerge at Booth #1K10.
Combining state of the art electronics with world-class performance, Imerge are demonstrating the MS1 media-server and the accompanying enterprise-grade storage solution options, dubbed XiVASafe. The MS1 is the end product of over 10 years of media-server hardware and software development experience, delivering awesome audiophile and videophile performance and designed to set new benchmarks against which all others will be measured. Proprietary embedded XiVA technology, designed specifically for the custom installation market, builds upon this leading software standard, adding features to the product genre never before thought possible. A high-definition, graphically-driven user interface sets new standards for enjoyment and ease of use, making the very act of browsing and playing back your music and movie media an art form. A world-beating media-server solution deserves to be partnered with the very best in hard drive technology to offer up the ultimate experience... the new Imerge XiVASafe storage solutions don't disappoint. The iSCSI XiVASafe solutions, for instance, offer enterprise-grade RAID 6 hard drive arrays, fully customised for the CI industry by Imerge, that deliver data-centre standards of reliability and security for audio-visual content, standards previously only encountered in financial, medical and scientific markets. ISE 2009 sees the MS1 media-server and XiVASafe storage solutions displayed and demonstrated in all their glory. Charlie Mertz, Business Development Manager for Imerge comments, 'We are very excited about this year's show. We've invested in the largest stand in our history that includes a state of the art theatre designed to show off the capabilities of the new products. Attendees can expect to be 'wowed' by the products, the stand, the demos, the staff. We are back where we belong, leading the world in entertainment systems designed to change people's lives for the better, and it feels good!' And there's more... Also on display is the brand new refreshed GUI (graphical user interface) for the ever popular MS5000 MediaServer. A real favourite with installers around the world, the MS5000 is unique as a high definition video-server and multiroom audio-server in one box. The refresh gives the MS5000 the same browse and playback experience as the MS1, allowing the user to enjoy their media in true 1920x1080 resolution. Attendees will also be able to get hands on with the products on the stand, giving everyone a chance to play with the MS1, the MS5000, and the updates to the world's favourite audio-server, the S3000. The updates include features such as AAC playback, scalable web UI and connection to the beta of the innovative TuneXchange application, providing 2 way sync with servers and iTunes/iPod. Cameron Wade, CEO of Imerge comments on the forthcoming show... "This is another wonderful step in our rich history. It provides us with a fantastic opportunity to showcase the products, and allows us to truly connect with our customers like never before!'
