Optimum adds Aspect and Vista "Off the Wall" TV stands to its BDI by Optimum range (16/10/2008)

Two innovative cantilever style stands have been added to Optimum International's new AV furniture collection by US design studio BDI.

The new models - Aspect and Vista - are part of the BDI by Optimum range. Each model is designed for mounting flat panel TVs and features glass shelving for AV components.

Optimum's Managing Director John Ogden says: "As cantilever style stands, Aspect and Vista are ideal for those that want their AV system to have a truly contemporary look, without the hassle of a wall mounted screen. Each model bears the hallmarks of the BDI by Optimum range - innovation, high performance, design and function."

Aspect is a stylish contemporary AV stand with a slim and neat design. It is engineered specifically for smaller flat panel TVs up to 35 inches.

Aspect features a curved central steel support and single toughened safety glass component shelf. A universal mounting bracket is designed to attach to most LCD and plasma screens.

Innovative design features include cable management and a swivel base. This allows the screen to pivot left to right through 70 degrees to optimise viewing position.

Aspect is available in one size (H1190mm x W660mm x D570mm) with a black or silver finish. The component shelf (W660mm x D460mm) has a 16kg capacity. RRP from £295.

Vista features a sturdy steel column that provides an elegant home for flat panels up to 55 inches. The model features a universal mounting bracket which can fixed at variable heights.

Vista has a heavy duty circular base and two adjustable toughened safety glass component shelves (W740mm x D460mm). Thanks to an integrated cable management system, component wires can be neatly concealed inside the central column.

Vista is available in one size (H1400mm x W740mm x D690mm) with a gloss black or silver finish. Designed for screens from 37-55 inches, with a maximum weight of 102kg. Each adjustable component shelf has a 23kg capacity. Additional shelves are also available. RRP from £495.
