Future Automation reveals latest mounting solutions at CEDIA Expo (16/5/2008) Stand D6, CEDIA UK Expo 2008 Future Automation, the leading manufacturer of home automation mechanisms, will be revealing its latest products on stand D6 at this year's CEDIA Expo (24th -26th June at ExCeL London). The company, who specialise in the design, manufacture and distribution of flat screen mounting solutions and high-tech devices to hide projectors, plasmas and televisions, will be demonstrating how their products can offer innovative solutions to the challenges of integrating technology into the residential environment. New products, such as the PM1 Fully adjustable Projector Mount, the QA2 Bi-directional Electric Wall Bracket and the LAS Lifting Arm, will be showcased on the stand alongside products from Future Automation's existing range, including their ever-popular moving panel mechanisms. Combining functionality with aesthetic appeal, the PM1 promises to be one of the best projector mounts on the market. This beautifully designed, anodised aluminium bracket allows the simplest and easiest adjustment and comes as either a ceiling mount on a fixed length pole, or on a telescopic pole. The QA2 is an electric wall bracket that can be recessed very tightly. Upon activation, the bracket moves forward, on a parallel track, before turning up to 90 degrees in either direction. The QA2 will be ideal when combined with any of Future Automation's moving panel mechanisms, such as the sliding panel, which allow the screen to be hidden before being revealed and rotated to the preferred viewing position. Developed by Future Automation in response to dealer demand, this type of product will become their standard motorised wall mount in the longer term. A marine version will also be available, complete with locking catch, to make it suitable for use on board super yachts and other applications. A prototype at CEDIA Expo 2007, the LAS will be a reality for 2008. A showcase for Future Automation's flexibility and innovation, this unique mechanism has the ability to hold a screen horizontally, then raise it up and swivel it to the preferred viewing position; making it ideal for end of bed applications where height is tight or from extremely low profile cabinets. Visitors to the stand will also be able to view products that were launched at ISE including the CH (Recessed Ceiling Hinge Mechanism) and the LB (Electric pitched ceiling bracket).
