USD launches Niko's Intensia high-performance solutions (13/5/2008)

The Intensia range of home automation, exclusively distributed in the UK by Unique Solutions Distribution Ltd, was showcased at this year's Smart Home Show at the NEC and at the Light+Building Show in Frankfurt.

Installers and architects flocked to both stands to find out more about this high-end whole-house automation system which incorporates some of the very best solutions that are available for making homes easy to operate, easy to run - and just as importantly, easy to use!

The Intensia system of Home Automation works with a decentralised structure making it both very powerful and future-oriented. It is both adaptable and flexible allowing the end-user to easily modify many of the functions without involving a technician. This user-friendly solution gives problem-free control of heating, lighting, curtains, sun-blinds, security alarms, and audio & video sources and programmes.

In addition to this advanced domestic automation Intensia also offers the "inCare" family of products make up automation systems designed especially for use in rest homes and nursing homes. The provision of a Care Station in each resident's room enables the facilities and environment to be optimised to the resident's abilities and needs whilst the diary function allows both monitoring and forward planning for many activities.

At Light&Building 2008 over 1,000 installers, integrators and architects visited the Intensia stand to see and use the home automation (light, climate, blinds) and to enjoy the multi -source multi zone audio and video system. The most common reaction was "Wow!", followed by, "This is the product I was looking for; it's gorgeous".
