Inaugural CONNECTIONS Europe Summit to Address Connected Home Strategies for Service Providers, CE Vendors (21/4/2008) Parks Associates and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA(r)) today announced the agenda and early sponsors for the inaugural CONNECTIONS(tm) Europe Summit, taking place May 19, 2008, in cooperation with TM Forum's Management World 2008 in Nice, France. This CONNECTIONS(tm) Europe Summit will be the first of two 2008 seminars for the European continent. These summits will host high-level strategists and executives active in the digital living space and feature discussions and analysis on designing, developing, and marketing advanced products and services for the home. "By 2012, more than 70 million households worldwide will have a residential gateway solution provided by a service provider," said Kurt Scherf, Vice President, Principal Analyst, Parks Associates. "This growing population of connected homes creates new opportunities for advanced solutions such as multiroom DVR and streaming multimedia applications, enhanced communications, and home monitoring. The CONNECTIONS(tm) Europe Summit series will focus on the key strategies for service providers, CE and home networking vendors, and digital media to succeed in this bold new market." Enure Networks and the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA(tm)) are Advisory Sponsors for both 2008 Summit events. The first of the two Summits will take place May 19, 2008, at the Palais de la Mediterranée, in cooperation with Management World 2008, which takes place May 18-22, 2008, at the Acropolis Convention Center in Nice, France.
