dnp denmark debuts new Supernova Flex Control System at High End 2008 in Munich (2/4/2008) See the newly enhanced version of the retractable SupernovaTM Flex Screen for the first time at High End 2008 in Munich, 24-27 April. dnp denmark and Comm Tec Vertriebsgesellschaft GmbH, dnp's German distributor, will demonstrate the new-and-improved Supernova Flex and the maskable Supernova Epic, the ultimate home cinema screen, in Atrium 4, Room E113.
10 times more contrast for revolutionary daytime viewing Award-winning Supernova front screens feature high-contrast filters that enable the projected image to be optimally reflected from the screen - even in brightly lit environments. Made up of 7 layers that actively filter out ambient light, the screens boast images with up to 10 times more contrast than standard front projection screens. New Supernova Flex control system minimizes noise, maximises flexibility The Supernova Flex is a retractable, motorized screen that blends seamlessly into any environment and disappears into a stylish wall-mounted enclosure when not in use. Now the Supernova Flex includes a new, three-level speed control that enables a low-noise screen entry/exit as well as a programmable universal IR remote control that operates all commonly used AV devices. The remote control makes it easy to install, program and control the screen right out of the box. The Supernova Flex Screen comes with RS232 serial communication. Maskable Supernova Epic for only the most demanding consumers The perfectly curved Supernova Epic combines superior Supernova optical screen technology with the best of "real" cinemas. An electronically controlled masking system adjusts screen width to fit any movie format. Elegant curtains glide open and shut at the screening's start and finish, while the curved screen surface enhances the viewing experience. Now film enthusiasts can watch any movie in the format the director intended! The Supernova Epic supports all film formats up to ultra-wide Cinemascope 2.4:1.
