CasaTools Partners with NuVo Technologies (31/3/2008) NuVo Grand Concerto Customers Can Add CasaTunes for MultiRoom Music Experience CasaTools, a leader in whole house audio systems, and NuVo Technologies, a manufacturer of whole home audio systems, speakers, source components and related accessories, today announced that CasaTools has partnered with NuVo Technologies. CasaTools and NuVo Technologies are working together to have CasaTunes MultiRoom Music Server from CasaTools support NuVo Technologies Grand Concerto, Essentia, and Simplese. Targeting Microsoft Windows Media Centers installers and integrators, CasaTunes provides NuVo amplification products with an advanced multi-source music server; including support for playing Windows music and DRM protected music, iPod music files and Internet radio streams. By integrating with CasaTunes, users can now also control their whole house NuVo based audio system from Microsoft Windows Media Center, Media Extenders, touchpads and other control points. "CasaTunes bridges Microsoft Windows Media Center and NuVo Technologies for whole house music systems," said David Krinker, CEO of CasaTools. "Partnering with NuVo Technologies gives Windows Media Center integrators the ability to sell and install a completely integrated whole house audio solution." CasaTools has also added support for NuVo Technologies NuvoNet Adapter. Use of the NuvoNet Adapter with the Grand Concerto and Essentia makes CasaTunes a NuvoNet source with complete and seamless integration with the NuVo keypads. Leveraging this keypad integration, CasaTunes enables customers to use their existing NuVo keypads to quickly browse and select songs from the CasaTunes media library, to control music playback and to view song information for the current song that is playing.
