Peerless Mounts' Offers In-Wall Mount Solutions for a Clean Finished Look (18/3/2008) Simply Installs Between 16 Inch Stud Centers for a Close-To-The-Wall Installation Peerless Mounts, the industry leader in professional-grade audio/visual mounting solutions today announced the availability of its new In-Wall Mount models that provide a virtually no-profile look while allowing flexible articulating functionality. Peerless' In-Wall mounts easily install between 16-inch wood stud centers and incorporate innovative stud-locating tabs that adjust 1⁄4 inch to accommodate irregular stud spacing, allowing a simple one person installation. Removable plates with built-in electrical outlet receptacles and cable access knockouts make running cords and electrical a simple task. When mounted, the flat panel screen can rest flat against the wall or extend up to 19 inches to allow viewing from virtually anywhere in the room. In addition to being UL listed for safety, when placed flush against the wall these mounts may allow installations to meet American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. A Complete In-Wall Solution Pre-assembled and ready to be installed, the IM760PU In-Wall mount is compatible with virtually all screens ranging in size from 32 inches to 60 inches. Mounting a flat panel screen flush against the wall is as easy as cutting out the space for the box and sliding it in-between 16 inch stud centers. This In-Wall solution is a must for a true close to the wall installation. In-Wall Solutions With Options The IM740 In-Wall mount comes standard with a SA740P articulating arm wall mount that accommodates screens up to 40 inches to provide a complete and easy installation solution. The IB40 in-wall box is compatible with Peerless' line of small to medium articulating arms that provide pricing flexibility and color options that compliment the surroundings. Pricing and Availability All in-wall solutions are now available. IM models are available in high gloss black and high gloss silver colors. IB models are available in white, high gloss black and high gloss silver. The new In-Wall solutions are now available for purchase and range in price from $179 to $669.
