New colour touch screen from Armour makes Systemline control faster (29/2/2008) Armour Home has introduced a stylish colour touchscreen for simple, effective control of its Systemline Modular built-in home entertainment system. A high resolution, high contrast wall mounted VGA touch screen, it allows users to control audio (including Soundservers), video and lighting in the home via RS232, which provides real two-way feedback. The new Systemline Modular colour touch screen features an integrated IR receiver, clock and alarm functions and hard buttons for primary functions such as volume, equipment menu and 'fast select' to activate your favourite music source, making it highly practical and convenient for homeowners. The chic touchscreen fits into a standard double gang Euro back box and comes in a choice of elegant surrounds to complement a wide range of interiors. The new colour touchscreen is the latest addition to Systemline Modular control options, which include a mono touchscreen and selection of remote controls. These are used to operate the many features of Systemline Modular, allowing for single or multi source audio and video to be played in up to eight different rooms, depending on the package selected. Unlike conventional multi room entertainment systems which have fixed points, local inputs are available in any designated room with Systemline, making it a highly flexible system. Systemline Modular is available exclusively from Armour Home.
