Vantage/Legrand Introduces New Enspire Home Automation System (22/2/2008) Enspire Designed to Expand the Reach and Appeal of Vantage Systems Vantage/Legrand is pleased to announce the debut of Enspire(TM), a revolutionary home automation system. Enspire is designed as a modular-based home automation system, allowing the homeowner the choice of automating a single room, such as a home theater; multiple rooms, perhaps with a multi-room audio system; or an entire house. The system is modular and scalable to meet the growing demands of the luxury home market. "As the demand for Vantage's InFusion(TM) home automation system increases in the luxury home market, we recognized the need for an additional system to satisfy demands of a broader classification of homeowner," said Vantage Marketing VP Andrew Wale. "Enspire satisfies that demand by allowing the homeowner to choose a system that can be small or large in scope." The initial extent of the Enspire system will be lighting control, utilizing the Miro(TM) lighting control system developed by Vantage's sister company, WattStopper/Legrand. Programmed locally at the keypad, Miro can control a single load or be expanded to control over 1000 separate keypad stations. The Enspire lighting control system is available in two styles, decorator and architectural, the architectural style incorporating a unique European flair. Enspire will provide comprehensive lighting control without adding unsightly wall clutter to a room. "We decided to incorporate Miro into the Enspire system since it is a current and proven technology available within the Legrand family," said Wale. The Enspire system will be released in phases. Phase I is the lighting control component. Future phases will include AV and home theater controls, environmental controls, distributed audio and a design and programming tool.
