Atlas adds Mastersound tube amplifiers and ASW loudspeakers to its UK offering (12/2/2008) British cable manufacturer, Atlas Cables, has returned in triumph from the Las Vegas CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2008, where it demonstrated the newest cable in its range - the Mavros. The Mavros is already making waves demonstrating its superiority to all who hear it. Enjoying a second year at one of the Show's newest locations, Atlas found itself surrounded by cable companies from all around the world. Word soon got around the Show, however, that the Atlas room was a 'must visit' to experience the stunning sound being generated. Describing the impact of the demonstration at the Show, Atlas' John Carrick said "The obvious superiority of the Atlas demonstration introduced us to many interested parties from both exclusive distribution companies, retailers and the international press. From our own experience, and from comments made at the Show, we are confident that Mavros cables may well prove to be the best interconnect and speaker cables ever produced at any price!" The hi-fi equipment used in the demonstration included the superb Mastersound integrated 300dB tube amplifier from Italy and ASW loudspeakers from Germany. So impressed was John Carrick that the company has decided to extend their offering in the UK to retailers to include these stunning brands. Commenting on this new development for Atlas, John Carrick said "The sum of the parts was a fraction of the cost of other demonstrations, yet the sound quality was arguably better than that being produced by those systems costing very much more. Both the speaker manufacturer and the amplifier manufacturer were amazed and immediately sought to use the Mavros cables in their respective demonstrations too. We felt that including Mastersound and ASW within our portfolio was a fantastic opportunity for us - and for our dealers".
