Armour launches Systemline HomeNethome automation gateway product (7/2/2008)

Armour Home has launched the latest addition to its best selling Systemline Modular built-in home entertainment system - the Systemline HomeNet range of enclosures.

Systemline HomeNet enclosures provide the gateway to home automation by acting as a central hub from which all incoming services - including telecommunications, data, radio, CCTV, terrestrial, satellite and cable TV and Systemline Modular multi room entertainment - are distributed around the home via Cat5 and coaxial cables.

A neat, flexible solution to home networking installations, Systemline HomeNet has also been designed to be compact, taking up as little space in the property as possible. Even with this space saving design, wiring the systems together remains simple as Systemline HomeNet features swing-out frames to allow easy access to front and rear cabling.

A range of Systemline HomeNet enclosures are available from Armour Home featuring different chassis sizes and configurations to suit an exceptionally wide range of properties, from single apartments through to large houses.

Commenting on the development and launch of the HomeNet Range, Armour Modular Sales Manager Adrian Ickeringill said "Since launching Systemline Modular, Armour Home has significantly invested in product development and HomeNet is no exception. Later in the year we aim to introduce a range of aerial amplifiers and, on the network front, a range of unique routers and switchers including solutions to enhance the performance of wireless home networking."

The Systemline Modular built-in multi room entertainment system allows for single or multi source audio and video to be played in up to eight different rooms. Residents simply plug in their existing home entertainment equipment into a wall socket and listen to / view the contents in any chosen room using a remote control or keypad, depending on the level of Systemline package chosen. Discreet mono, stereo and 5.1 cinema surround sound is all available through Systemline, played through unique in-ceiling amplified speakers which deliver outstanding high fidelity sound, yet remain discreet.
