LINN is bringing the future of music to more audiophiles around the world with the launch of its latest digital streaming source, Akurate DS.

Akurate DS takes the Akurate range, LINN's most flexible, high performance separates system, to an unprecedented level of accuracy and value.

The highest performing Akurate source available, Akurate DS will appeal immediately to existing Akurate owners. This breakthrough product will also enthuse all music lovers who seek authentic, audiophile-quality music, digitally streamed via a standard network connection.

Akurate DS is format independent and uses open interfaces for digital streaming and control of music over the network. Akurate DS also integrates seamlessly with other Akurate components for complete control of the entire system through a wireless touch panel, PC, laptop or IR handset.

Akurate DS is an original LINN design and completely open, supporting the highest quality open audio formats (including FLAC and WAV) and controllable through the UPnP(tm) AV 2.0 open standard. Users can access and control their music through a wireless, ultra mobile PC or similar device, quickly and easily, no matter what shape their music collection -- downloads or CDs are stored separately on a standard secure, reliable and upgradeable networked hard drive array (NAS).

Akurate DS will be available from LINN Specialist retailers from January at the suggested retail price of £3,450.
