Weibel Lift appoints Thomas Edison as the sole distributor in Spain for its projector and television lifts (15/1/2008)

Thomas Edison SL and Weibel Lift AG announced today that they will start to work together for the Spanish market. Thomas Edison will be the sole distributor for the Weibel Projector and the television lift.

Weibel Lift AG will pre-launch a new Projector Lift, the MINI Projector Lift during the ISE 2008 in Amsterdam. This MINI lift, that will be manufactured as of June 2008 will fit into standard ceiling panels of 60 by 60cm while still offering the minimum depth of 15cm.

Weibel Lift AG has successfully launched in 2007 the new Home 150 Projector Lift at the PALME show in Dubai the Cedia in London and the IFA in Berlin. This projector lift, which only needs 15cm to be built into the ceiling, can be installed in places where other lifts cannot be placed. The minimum distance needed to install the Home 150 Projector Lift is 15cm, including the projector itself, is less than half the space required by a regular scissor lift!

While traditional scissor lifts also lack precision when opening and closing the hatch, the Home 150 Projector Lift uses a patented spindle system that allows it to move up and down with Swiss-style precision. The maximum horizontal deviation is 0.1mm (less then 2 human hairs) when the lift is in the upper or lower position. The precision of the Home 150 Projector Lift ensures that the lift will not jam, and makes the lift, once it is up in the ceiling, almost invisible until operated.
