AMX Continues to Set the Standards in Both Products and Training (3/1/2008) Stands C62 and K36, Integrated Systems Europe 2008 AMX will be giving visitors to ISE 2008 the best of both worlds from two individual, purpose-designed stands. Demonstrating a raft of new products and developments that continue to set the standards in automation and control, AMX's portfolio now also boasts the best in audio and video switching, control and distribution following the integration of ProCon Technology, Endeleo, AutoPatch and Matrix Audio Designs into the AMX Group over the past 12 months, as well as state of the art digital display and signage solutions from its Inspired Signage division. Matching its commitment to product design and innovation, AMX's commitment to raising standards in training in the industry will be manifested in a dedicated 'education stand' (K36), which will deliver two specially devised training seminars to exhibition delegates. And in another exhibition 'first', the seminars will be multi-language; presented in five different languages. From a purpose-designed training facility on the stand, AMX will deliver a rolling programme of 15-minute presentations throughout the duration of the exhibition, covering the subjects of 'New Product Introduction' and 'Economical Room Control'. These presentations will be delivered in German, Dutch, English, French, Spanish & Italian. Alongside groundbreaking new products from the Inspired Signage, ProCon, Matrix and AutoPatch ranges, ultra-stylish Modero control panels and the advanced VoIP Metreau entry communicator, AMX will provide delegates with the opportunity to 'test drive' products in two working demonstration areas, which will feature systems for residential and commercial installations. The Inspired Signage education pre-packaged digital signage solution for schools and colleges, delivers an easy-to-use way of creating dramatic, animated digital signs for activities as diverse as theatre productions, sports results or canteen menus. The package includes a wide variety of pre built education-focused templates, combined with Inspired Signage's full HD graphics engine, integrated RSS feeds and multi-user functionality. AMX will also be showing the Inspired Signage time synchronisation module, which is able to render display content in real time, across any number of panels and in any pixel configuration. A five screen demonstration will be used to demonstrate the solution, supported by examples of applications delivered for clients including the City of London, Hertz, and Landau Forte College.
New products launched at CEDIA US will be shown for the first time in Europe. These include the ultra-stylish design 5.2" Modero ViewPoint Widescreen Touch Panel (MVP-5200i) with high-resolution graphics, wireless mobility, digital intercom functionality and extended battery life, and the Metreau entry communicator, offering Voice and Video over IP (V2IP)-enabled door communication and entry system. AMX will also be demonstrating products from its Matrix high-quality, multi-room distributed audio systems, including the recently launched Tango product line, the AutoPatch fibre optic switcher line - the Epica Digital Generation (Epica DG), the NI-3101-SIG Signature Series NetLinx Integrated Controller, and the latest software developments from the company's Resource Management Suite. These will be joined by latest product releases from the ProCon range.
