Ingenium introduces a dedicated video-entry terminal (2/1/2008) Ingenium has recently produced a dedicated video-porter terminal following client needs and demands. Ingenium has designed a terminal using a generous 5.7" screen to obtain a quality image with user-friendly icons that are easy to use even by those who have failing eyesight and/or motor disabilities.
The elegant 5.7" screen connects to any analogue video-porter camera and visualises the caller in full colour. The sharp, high-quality image viewed is composed of 512 x 240 pixels and has a 4.3" visible area. There are three large icons to control the video-entry phone: View/Speak, Door-release and Off. The Off button saves wasting energy on camera consumption when not in use, contributing towards a more sustainable environment. For clients who wish to extend their BUSing(r) installation, it is fully compatible with the entire Ingenium range of smart home devices and touch screens. The Ingenium VideoBUS comes with a fourth icon to control 16 elements or create 16 'moods' or groups of events in the same room or area that the terminal has been installed. Such elements might include lighting, heating, or curtains. Quite a complete terminal! The product is available as from 2008.
