NetStreams releases iLight driver for its multiroom audio and control system (7/12/2007) NetStreams, the world leader in digital entertainment networks based on Internet Protocol (IP) technology, announces the release of an iLight driver for the DigiLinX Multi-Room Audio, Video and Control system. iLight control products can be found in any environment where pre-programmed or timed lighting control is required. These include a huge variety of applications from smart homes, retail shopping developments, churches, conference centres, hotels, office buildings, ocean liners, themed restaurants and theme parks. They have experience in providing solutions for building management systems, for creating ambient lighting for residential, hotel and restaurant environments, large scale dramatic architectural lighting and fully integrated entertainment systems. Working with DigiLinX, the iLight Driver now means that installers, both commercial and residential, have opportunities to quickly and easily incorporate lighting control into active and new DigiLinX projects. iLight lighting scenes can be custom named using the DigiLinX Dealer Set-Up Program software and then simply uploaded to the DigiLinX system with a minimum of fuss. Offering superb audio quality with synchronized sound to multiple rooms, high definition video integration and simple installation and operation, DigiLinX does not require the extensive programming found on typical audio/video distribution systems. Using the NetStreams home automation interface - the ControLinX(tm) CL100 - the integrated driver will enable control of iLight lighting on either a TouchLinX(tm) touch screen, a wireless web tablet, PDA or PC instead of cluttering the walls with extra control keypads. Moreover the homeowner has visual feedback of which lighting scene is selected. In addition, the NetStreams DigiLinX system can also combine with a powerful coalition of manufacturers from many diverse markets including Sky, AMX, Crestron, iPort, AudioReQuest, Imerge, Panasonic, Polk Audio and Sensible Heat, making it one of the most easily integrated control brands available.
