News A taste of CEDIA at ISE (27/11/2007) Stand N70, Integrated Systems Europe 2008 CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) will be running a dedicated education programme for visitors to Integrated Systems Europe 2008 on its Booth N70. Alongside InfoComm International(r), CEDIA is a key Association sponsor of ISE. The Association will be helping to inform and educate visitors about the skill-sets required for professional home electronic systems design and integration by running training in a series of easily digestible, 45 minute 'bite-sized' seminars on the show floor. Offered free of charge, these seminars will give a taste of the full CEDIA training programme and cover topics such as integrated technology for low carbon homes, technical design for high performance home cinemas and the top 10 technology and consumer trends in residential custom installation. Places for these sessions can be reserved from the CEDIA Stand and are available on a first come, first served basis. In addition, visitors will also be able to attend CEDIA's ever-popular RIBA accredited CPD course for architects and design professionals, entitled 'Designing Integrated Future-Ready Homes' . "Giving 'bite-sized' training sessions in this way will allow delegates to get a feel for the extensive range of CEDIA courses" explains Peter Aylett, CEDIA's education manager. "The CEDIA training programme is incredibly comprehensive, fulfilling requirements at all levels, from absolute beginner to advanced and experienced professionals. These sessions will give a taste of what is available ahead of the key training event of the year, CEDIA Expo". CEDIA representatives will be available on Booth N70 for the duration of the event to talk to visitors about the organisation's work across the region, the benefits that membership brings and opportunities for participation in Europe's only dedicated residential custom installation show, the CEDIA UK Expo being held at ExCeL London (23rd to 26th June 2008).
