projectiondesign shows the new F80 1080 and cineo80 1080 three-chip DLP projectors (27/11/2007)

Stand J45, Integrated Systems Europe 2008

projectiondesign returns to Integrated Systems Europe in January 2008 with a larger booth than ever before, and projectors to suit a diverse range of applications.

Among the projectors being shown on Stand J45 at the Amsterdam RAI are:

* The new F80 1080 and cineo80 1080 - projectiondesign's first three-chip DLP(r) projectors and the most compact of their kind currently available.

* The compact F10 and versatile F30 projector platforms with full 1080p compatibility, being shown in Europe for the first time.

Anders L¿kke, marketing and communications manager at projectiondesign, says the show's importance to the company cannot be overestimated: "Ever since Integrated Systems Europe started, we have been committed to the event, and that commitment has been rewarded. It has become the best platform from which to not only launch new products to the systems integrator marketplace, but also to cement our existing business relationships and build new ones."

All the projectors on display feature projectiondesign's new electronics platform, which offers a number of substantial advances to enhance image quality and further increase the range's already excellent reputation for ruggedness and versatility. These include full 10-bit processing to reduce any digital dithering, solarisation and gradation effects; support for version 1.3 of the HDMI interface standard; and Pixelworks' new DNX technology for improved video processing and deinterlacing. The new platform also adds DHCP network functionality, improving the projectors' networkability and granularity of control over IP.

Rather than simply showing its projectors on plinths or in glass cabinets, projectiondesign will be demonstrating how well they work, showing a range of content including HD DVD, computer graphics, medical imaging and 3D visualisation. On display this year will be a giant and entirely seamless 12 megapixel visualisation wall which uses a 12-channel clusterwall from Cyviz, a provider of high-end visualisation hardware and software. This large display will be shown alongside several other real-life application examples.

L¿kke adds "We like to show people how our projectors work in the real world, which is why we are showing our projectors in both rear-screen and front-screen projection situations. We are also using a 3D environment to demonstrate how well our projectors suit that kind of application - this market has been particularly successful for us recently."
