News Chief Introduces the Next Evolution of In-Wall Swing Arm Mounts (27/11/2007) Stand K14, Integrated Systems Europe 2008 The industry's first fully integrated in-wall mount eliminates the need to cut studs! Chief(r) Manufacturing, the industry leader in flat panel TV and projector mounts, introduces the next evolution of In-Wall Swing Arm Mounts for 26 -63" flat panels. At less than 8" wide, these flat panel swing arm wall mounts are the industry's first fully integrated in-wall mount, including both the in-wall box and swim arm mount! Chief had an excellent debut of the new dedicated in-wall mounts at CEDIA 2007 with the mounts receiving the Pacific Media Buckaroo HDTV Award for Best of Show. The award series recognizes "trailblazing technology."
Chief's new MIWV(tm), MIWU(tm) and PIWU(tm) provide a complete, easy-to-install in-wall mounting solution that ships with a pre-assembled swing arm and in-wall box to save time and simplify installation. The new mount design allows perfect on-wall TV positioning during installation without the need to disturb walls by cutting into studs or installing headers. The new swing arm mount kits offer the ultimate in adjustability. Some of the most unique features of the new mounts are fingertip tilt (the mount can be tilted down 15 degrees) and ultra smooth adjustment. The in-wall arms also offer lateral shift and height adjustment for increased mounting flexibility! The series provides an ultra clean and low-profile installation with less than 2" depth from the wall when retracted! Plus, the mounts provide up to 15" of extension (on the PIWU model) for optimal viewing and 40 degrees of swivel. The new series can be retrofit to existing construction with minimal drywall work. Integrated cable management and trim kit provided for a clean installation.
