News Somfy Introduces the Next Generation ILT Motor for Automated Window Coverings and Projection Screens (14/11/2007) Somfy continues to innovate with the introduction of the Next Generation ILT Motor. This new motor, with built-in intelligence, is designed to automate interior window coverings and projection screens. Controlling the Next Generation ILT motors in a network is simple thanks to each motor incorporating a unique address. All motors on the network communicates via a common protocol allowing integration with third party automation systems compatible with dry contact, Infrared, radio or RS-232/RS-485. As projects and applications change, so can the number of Next Generation ILT motors on the network. The automated roman shade in the bedroom can be easily added to the existing network of motorized black out shades and projection screen in the home theater room. And, as with all Somfy products, the Next Generation ILT Motor is backed by a 5-year warranty.
