News Armour Home forges a new partnership with Epson (1/11/2007) Leading distributor Armour Home announced today it has forged a new partnership with the world's number one projector manufacturer, Epson, to handle distribution of its Home Cinema Projectors in the UK and Ireland. Specifically targeting the custom installation, home cinema and independent hi-fi markets with an impressive range of Epson products, Armour has also been granted exclusive distribution of the Epson EMP-TW700 and new EMP-TW2000 models. The latter will have its UK debut at the What Hi-Fi / Best of Stuff show on 2nd November 2007. Both exclusive models feature Epson's '3 LCD Technology', for brighter images, more accurate colour reproduction and finer grey scaling as well as Epson's 'Cinema Filter' which gives a range of viewing modes to suit the lighting conditions in the room. The Full HD 1080p EMP-TW2000 has an amazing contrast ratio of 50,000:1 and a brightness of 1600 ANSI Lumens. Commenting upon the partnership, Nick Butler, MD, Epson UK said "Armour's strength in the home cinema and custom installation channels, together with its excellent technical support and training facilities, makes it the natural choice for Epson. We are confident that with Armour as our new distribution partner, our market share will enjoy significant growth" Armour's Managing Director, Glenn McGelland is equally enthusiastic about the new arrangement. He says, "Armour Home is delighted with this new distributorship because, adding this solidly profitable, high performing range of projectors to our portfolio will further enhance our rapid growth in the Home Cinema market." "Furthermore, Epson's decision to offer both the EMP-TW700 and EMP-TW2000 exclusively to Armour, ensures all our dealers will receive levels of service and training, to enable them to meet their customer's very highest expectations."
