Free education to fuel fresh ideas on the Integrated Systems Roadshow (18/10/2007)

'Innovation, information, and inspiration' are the three themes for this year's Integrated Systems Roadshow, as it prepares to depart on a five-city tour of some of Europe's emerging markets for AV and Electronic Systems technology.

With the support of over 25 sponsors and exhibitors - more than double last year's number - the Roadshow, powered by Integrated Systems Europe, begins in the Danish capital of Copenhagen on 17 October, before visiting Warsaw (19 Oct), Prague (22 Oct), Vienna (24 Oct), and Zagreb (26 Oct).

In addition to an expanded exhibition area, the Roadshow will feature a top-flight line-up of education sessions, led by some of the AV industry's most respected professionals, and all provided free of charge to attendees.

"Our training sessions give attendees a unique opportunity to update their knowledge about the latest technology developments in this thirving market," says Mike Blackman, Managing Director, Integrated Systems Events.

"We're offering a wide variety of seminars that will showcase the latest innovations in our industry, inform attendees of new business developments, and above all inspire delegates to take a fresh approach to their work.

"We guarantee that visitors to any of our Roadshow events will come away armed with new information, new solutions, and valuable new contacts."

The Roadshow's Platinum Sponsors - AMX/Comm-Tec, Crestron, Christie and Extron - are each providing a full day of seminars in each city, starting at 9.00am. Gold Sponsosrs (Da-Lite, Panasonic, Vantage EMEA, Projecta, Lutron, Chief, Polycom and projectiondesign) will be offering training in one of three two-hour time slots. Between them, these companies offer an insight into a huge range of Electronic Systems technologies, including signal management, lighting control, video projection, home automation, and conferencing.

New to the Roadshow this year is Association training. At each city, InfoComm International is hosting a seminar on 'Designing For Optimum Projected Image Quality' - a module from the renowned InfoComm Academy Design School. The session will be led by Greg Jeffreys of Paradigm AV in Copenhagen, and InfoComm's Scott Wills on the rest of the tour.

Also offering Association training is CEDIA, which is offering sessions on 'Technology Trends In Residential Custom Integration' and 'Designing Integrated Future Ready Homes'. The sessions will be hosted by Simon Williams in Copenhagen, Peter Aylett in Warsaw and Prague, and Steve Martin in Vienna and Zagreb.

While the education programme is highly focused, the Roadshow also promises a relaxed environment in which delegates can forge new business relationships, as well as cementing existing ones.

"Our hotel locations promise the perfect atmosphere in which attendees can broaden their horizons," concludes Blackman, "but space at each venue is limited, and anyone wishing to attend should pre-register as soon as possible."
