CEDIA business forum heads to the Cotswolds (17/9/2007)

The CEDIA Autumn Business Forum and AGM takes place at the Cotswold Water Park Hotel, near Cirencester, on October 4th-5th 2007, with a packed programme of education and networking geared towards owners of custom installation businesses.

Held on the first evening, the CEDIA Region 1 AGM provides a platform for Board members to present a review of CEDIA's activities over the past twelve months. The AGM also provides a key opportunity for members to ask questions, and find out more about CEDIA's future plans. CEDIA is also setting up a special "Breakfast with the Board" meeting session giving delegates the chance to sit on a designated Board member's table for breakfast to discuss specific issues. This year's AGM will also see the results of voting for the two open Trade Supplier positions on the Board revealed.

Education sessions on offer focus on structuring your business for growth, succession strategies and a regulatory briefing looking at the impact of the Building Regs: parts P, Q & L, the WEE Directive, the New 17th Edition Electrical Regs and New Employment law. A further session will look at the role of the CEDIA Awards in helping to promote your business.

Another major highlight of the event will be a half day of team-based activities taking place in the hotel grounds. Activities on offer will include Laser Clay Shooting, Duck Herding, Giant 5-Aside Football and Powerturns.

Special packages are available at a heavily subsidised rate for CEDIA members of £175 + VAT (non-members £400+VAT).
