News A+K Reaches the Heart of the Industry with Two Additions to the External Sales Team (23/8/2007) A+K is pleased to announce that it has recently increased its presence in the South with 2 experienced sales staff taking to the road. As a recent A+K customer satisfaction survey confirmed, A+K customers respond favourably to a face-to-face approach. Good communication has always been fundamental to A+K's success and who better for our customers to communicate with than experienced, approachable and professional A+K team members. A+K has recently welcomed David Ross into the A+K team. David, who has joined A+K from Owl Visual Systems Ltd, arrived in England 4 years ago having previously worked as a Sales Manager in the gaming industry in South Africa. His 31/2 year period at Owl has equipped David with valuable selling experience in the AV industry. Working firstly as an Internal Sales Manager at Owl, progressing to Regional Sales Manager, he not only knows the industry but also the Southern region in which he is now working for A+K. David is motivated by the demands of his new role and says "I am enjoying the challenge of bringing the unique and exciting mix of A+K products to the South". Paul Lawrence, who has been with A+K for almost 5 years, is using his expertise and skill set established whilst working in his previous capacity as A+K Internal Sales Manager, to develop a new role within the External Sales Team. Essentially responsible for business in the Midlands region, Paul's new role will take him all over East Anglia, across to Birmingham as well as into Wales. Paul's previous role often took him out of the office to carry out on-site demonstrations and build relationships with customers. He is keen to further develop these relationships and establish new ones. Paul says "My previous role heading the A+K Internal Sales team has given me invaluable knowledge of A+K products. The fact that I already know our customers and their clearly defined requirements has made the transition an easy one for me and I'm really enjoying getting out on the road to share the A+K portfolio with new and existing customers".
