News Henley Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary (27/7/2007) Leading UK distributor, Henley Designs, is celebrating its 10th successful year in business. The company was formed in 1997 by MD, Laurence Armstrong and Sales Director, Nick Fuller from a management buy out of Ortofon UK and thus its knowledge in the area of Hi-Fi and record reproduction is, perhaps, second to none. Explaining how the company came about, MD, Laurence Armstrong said "We saw an opportunity in 1997 to take the Ortofon product range and build a business on it. We always recognised that to be successful in distribution, we would have to have a service and product offering that was second to none. We have worked hard to recruit the right people, and find the right products to meet this criteria; and I think we have done pretty well. We are recognised as having a stable and loyal workforce who are very good at what they do, and we enjoy long and successful relationships with the manufacturers whose products we distribute - you could say that our success is their success - and that is why we have achieved so much." Now based in Didcot, Oxfordshire, Henley Designs boasts a dealer base of nearly 500 stores covering the UK and Eire. A 15,000 sq Ft headquarters building houses its internal Sales Team, Service Centre, Marketing Department and Distribution Facility enabling the company to maintain excellent sales and aftercare support whilst still offering its customers exceptional value for money.
