Armour Home Electronics introduces Systemline HDD MusicServer to range (24/7/2007)

Armour Home Electronics is pleased to announce the launch of its new 'Systemline' Hard Disc Drive MusicServer.

"Store, navigate and play your favourite CDs and Internet Radio by genre, album or artist, all at the touch of a button." says Ashley Hutchinson, Armour Home Electronics' Category Manager, responsible for the Systemline brand.

He continued: "The new MusicServer is an easy to use, one box 'audio library', providing instant access to all the owner's favourite music, categorised and organised just the way they like it. Naturally, for complete convenience, the MusicServer can be integrated into a multi-room system and then controlled and enjoyed from anywhere around the home."

The Systemline server boasts three separate audio outputs, which allow three users too simultaneously, yet independently, hear their individual selections. In addition they can audition radio stations from around the world, via its built-in Internet Radio or music from any compatible portable MP3 player connected to the front panel USB socket. This multiple independent user functionality makes the new MusicServer the simplest solution to custom installation multi-room music delivery.

A massive 160 Giga Byte hard drive is fitted as standard and users are provided with a choice 5 different recording bit-rates, from 'uncompressed' all the way down to 68Kbs. This allows the server to hold over 300 albums at the highest (uncompressed) standard or more than 40,000 songs at the lowest category. In addition, the server has the capability of seeing music content on other laptops and hard drives on the same network. This music is then 'added' to the server's collection and is available for distribution and control around the home.

Needless to say, the Systemline MusicServer is also an advanced, low-jitter, audiophile quality CD player but with enhanced features (via its internet connection) enabling it to display artist, album and track information.
