News SIM2 delivers Grand Cinema HT3000E 1080p single-chip DLP projector (23/7/2007) Delivering the pinnacle of projected 'full' High Definition pictures is the new Grand Cinema(tm) HT3000E design from movie maestros SIM2. This single-chip DLP projector sets the benchmark standard for true HD, 1080p pictures and is capable of displaying an astonishing one billion colour shades on-screen. The HT3000E offers new levels of cinematic realism for genuinely film-like images, thanks to its use of Texas Instruments' BrilliantColor technology - the first 'full' High Definition projector to do so - class-leading 10-bit video processing, and a new spurious particles-free, high-quality long throw lens. It is also without doubt the most beautifully styled projector available as befits any product with Italian pedigree, encompassing as it does an elegant Giorgio Revoldini designed cabinet. It is the ideal partner for High Definition broadcasts as well as Blu-Ray and HD DVD video sources. The ingenious BrilliantColor technology delivers a brighter picture, improved contrast, deeper blacks, more detail and less interference. Allied to new Unishape(tm) lamp technology the HT3000E delivers a 100% increase in brightness (at D65), deeper blacks, a 60% reduction of digital artifacts and a wider, more vivid color palette than its illustrious predecessor. The Grand Cinema HT3000E utilises true 10-bit video processing (with high definition scaling and de-interlacing capabilities) to create the highest quality images. 10-bits-per-channel processing produces 1024 shades of a single colour: the result is the ability to accurately render over one billion colours. SIM2's latest model also sports a new spurious particles-free, high quality glass T2 long throw 2-2.8:1 lens, which makes it possible to project an immaculate image on a big screen up to 30ft in size. The new lens means the HT3000E is more flexible than ever, allowing you to now position the projector at the rear of your viewing room, creating that real cinema in the home feel, and is ideal for placement in larger environments. Reinforcing SIM2's position as the world leader in Digital Light Processing (DLP(tm)) technology, the HT3000E is capable of displaying the ultimate High Definition signal at its native resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels progressive (1080p). The design implements the very latest DLP(tm) chipset from Texas Instruments, the newly developed 0,95Ó 1080p single DMD chip, allied to the company's proprietary ALPHAPATH(tm) light engine. Completing the package is a pair of HDMI digital connections, which alongside the array of analogue inputs, makes the HT3000 compatible with every digital and analogue video source.
